  • Just another dangerous cheap charger

Rigid lightweight and compact design would be great for travel. The fold-over plug is a plus for traveling. (won't puncture things in your bags).

    Open circuit voltage: 4.27V

    Charge light turns green: ~4.22V

Charge continues after green light to ~4.26V+ and holds there until the cell is removed.

No charge termination is present. This is a trickle/float style charge that is not recommended for use with li-ion cells.

Charge rate of 600mA is split between channels, channels are wired parallel. This can be dangerous if cells in very different states of charge are installed together by a user who is no aware of this and why it is dangerous.

When charging 2 large cells, charge time can be over 8 hours, terribly slow IMO.

The long charge time is going to make it difficult for a user to monitor the charge. Since this charger does not terminate, the only real safe way to use it is if the user intervenes and pulls cells when the light turns green.

Just another trickle/float charger for li-ion cells being offered up for cheap and getting far more positive reviews than it deserves.
