Great tool for the price!
Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:more than 1 month
Pros:Price is great – If I compare local retail prices for this crimping tool, it would cost several times what deal extreme is asking for it.
Cons:Quality is very good. I had never used one of these before and it was very easy to figure out and use.

OtherThoughts:This is a great alternative to much more expensive crimpers available out there.
Bottomline:You cannot beat this deal; if you need to crimp RJ45 connectors, this is the way to go. I can’t speak for its long term use of it but it seems to be very well put together. I have already recommended this crimper to several friends who needed to make up their own network cables.
