Solid design, accurate for everyday use, easy to use. Initial tests it is accurate, boiled kettle measured inside a few times, avoiding rising steam 100C plus or minus 1C, an easy to align to object to be measure with laser pointer. Hand held IR don't usually work well below Ambient, tried of and... Read more

Easy to use - just pull the trigger and it tells you the temperature of the thing the red dot is pointing at. Good for knowing when your pan or barbecue has reached temperature. Quite solid construction, slightly rubberised.

It works perfectly, and the manufacturing quality seems very good. The touch of the handle is soft and comfortable and it is very ease to control. The only 'con' that I found was the battery housing which I think that is a little small, fitting the battery in, without damaging the battery wires,... Read more

My father used to deep fry the old fashioned way: with a pot and boiling oil. This would often result in burned snacks and chips and so on. So, to help him pin point the temperature, I bought this infra red thermometer for him. It's really easy to use: just point the laser to the object you want... Read more

Very good value, I have seen this sold in Australia fro $139. High quality, doesn't feel cheap. Accurate, easy to use. No apparent cons I really can't complain about this product. A real bargain. It should be noted that when measuring temperature from a distance it seems to be less accurate than... Read more

The unit works by pressing the trigger and pointing the target. The laser pointer can be turned on and the F/C can be chosen. The quoted measurement range covers all typical use purposes. I tested it against other thermometers and most of the time it was accurate within +/- 1 C. Does not come a... Read more
