well made small little heat sinks. I like the fanned out fins instead of just straight fins like many other heat sinks have. Made of aluminum so heat dissipation should be good (copper would be even better).
I didn't care for the adhesive tape these came with. I removed the tape and used arctic alumina. I have also used sku 4579 to attach these for a cheaper solution.
Most people seem to be using these for cooling RAM or Rasperry Pi chipsets. I'm using these on some custom DIY led lights that needed "a little more" cooling than the housing supplied. Was able to use in a out of sight spot on the light housing due to the small size. Creating another led light that will feature these as a design element. These little guys really don't look bad. Just don't expect to stick a cree xml on these and have it provide enough cooling @ 3A. Common sense...
Get 'em if you need 'em. They're cheap, work well and look good.
