This is an original Sailebao DSE-901 e-cigarette (white battery and atomizer), with cartridges that are easy to find, but not in this form: they do not have the flat pipe-like mouthpiece. I like these better, as they resemble a real cigarette more. This deal with the Personal Charger Case was one of the cheapest I could find. It has all the benefits of the DSE-901 system: look it up. The green LEDs are not a true indication of the charged status: one has to leave the USB lead (for the PCC) or the battery (inside the PCC) attached for several more hours to obtain a full charge. The casing is made of shiny, not so hard yet brittle plastic. It scuffs and scratches easily when you put it in your pocket together with coins or keys. One drop on a hard surface and it will shatter. The case is designed to carry the e-cig completely disassembled in three pieces: battery/controller, atomizer, and cartridge. This is best for the life of the device, and prevents the typical DSE-901 problems (see e-cig forums), but is annoying. Having to put the end cap on the cartridge each time is a nuisance, and carrying the end cap of your current cartridge in the PCC will cause it to tumble into the open hole, which is a mess to get out. The PCC battery charging base is not suitable for the (more reliable) manual batteries (with a switch), not even with an extender/adapter. You will need a separate, non-portable charger for that. It also has all the downsides of the DSE-901 system with automatic battery: look it up. This kit should really come with an spare battery (I can't pause smoking several times a day for several hours), and a spare atomizer (can give up after 6 days to 6 months): luckily, you can obtain these (elsewhere) for little money. It came with the manual for the "C-series" PCC, which is apparently an all-metal version: whish DX had these for sale instead. The USB to Mini-USB lead (from computer or supplied 500mA Euro AC plug to PCC) is very short. You may have to supply your own cable (cheap enough). The supplied 6 cartridges are good to test the system, but taste awful. Mine were all "H": high nicotine content, and that was surely no lie. The cartridges are good for refill or reflavour. I made a small mod to be able to carry my e-cig in two pieces (battery and cartridge/atomizer): use a 9.5mm drill to deepen the hole for the atomizer compartiment: one level deeper and it fits perfectly. Make sure you file the bottom edges so the cartridge doesn't get stuck at the bottom of the hole (PCC is impossible to open), and carry the atomizer end (and hence the PCC) straight up: the e-liquid from the cartridge may not leak through the atomizer into the battery, or the suction switch will get stuck in allways on or off, giving you no vapor at all, or a burnt-out atomizer and a scorched finger. I reuse the cartriges with the "Lipton Pyramid Tea Bag" mod and RY4 (tobacco/caramel) e-liquid refilling (google it), and couldn't be happier. I'm thinking of cladding this PCC case in a disposable L&M themed "H20 - Water Vapor" printed thick paper, further mimicking a cigarette pack, avoiding remarks on me "smoking", and protecting the case from scratches. I was able to instantly trade a 40+ cigarettes/day habit for this cancer-free nicotine dispenser, without looking back at "analog" cigarettes. No nicotine cravings, and everything else is simulated. We all know politicians insist on not advertising this as a smoking cessation aid, and we all know why (taxes), but the truth is it simply works and won't kill you. For someone looking to kick the habit completely in 4 to 8 weeks, this is your ticket. Add two of DealExtreme's 30ml bottles of e-liquid of your chosen flavour (one regular strength and one zero nicotine, and then mix down as the days pass), and you're set. The long-term "vaper" will want to buy extra (manual) batteries, chargers, atomizers, a USB pass-through, and possibly an aluminum PCC. He will probably look elsewhere for e-liquid flavours and strenghts.
