Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:more than 1 month
Small and requires no batteries. Bluetooth for wireless connectivity. Works great with Torque on android. Lets you check and reset engine codes - And avoid $100 repair shop bills for them to just tell you your car needs a new O2 sensor.
Bluetooth passkey is hard to remember. Not sure if it supports writing changes to the ECU. Starting car interrupts it. (needs a small capacitor to stop bluetooth from disconnecting)
I wanted to know some stuff about my 2004 CIVC LX, and this device gave me that info. Also helped me diagnose several different vehicle problems on all sorts of cars. (O2 sensor, Evap sensor etc).
