it's cheap. build looks and feels pretty solid. accepts both AAA and 10440 batteries.
didn't work when it first arrived; but I managed to fix it. mine came with a scratch on the side, but it's barely visible. The tail-switch is made of plastic and is a little wobbly, especially in the 'off' position. For me this is the biggest con, I might try to completely remove the switch's cover just to make the light tail-stand better...
At first first I thought it was DOA, but when I took out the front unit with the regulator and LED and connected it to a battery with a couple of wires it worked. Afterwards I found out that there was no conduction between the body section and the tail section because the threading on the body was also anodized. I thought about filing the threading to expose the metal but I found out that if you turn the middle section back to front it still screws in nicely and also, in this case for me, manages to connect electrically to both the tail and the head...
It's okay to get if you're willing to take the chance that you'll need to fix it at first. good for the price, but there are nicer lights for only a little more.
