Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week
A nice and useful tool kit for simple watch work such as opening the back to change battery or strap adjustment. Changing battery alone makes worth to buy it (costs less than $19) as it would cost approx. $20 every time if let a store technician do the job. The carrying case is made from strong fabric and keeps the whole set in place, which is very convenient.
Some pieces are made from plastic and seem not very strong. So care must be taken when using those tools. The container for the case opener tips are cheap. The tips could be orgnized in a better way (such as in groups and has designated place for each tip) to prevent from lost.
It would be much helpful for a beginner if it would come with a manual showing how to use every piece in the kit. Right now I have to figure out the functionality of each piece bu guessing.
Overall, a tool kit worth to buy if one has several watches to maintain.
