This wire is so thin it melts like ice on the soldering iron. Makes for quick, smooth electrical connections.
I originally gave it a build quality rating of 4 because the plastic spool was cracked in half when delivered, making it somewhat difficult for the wire to be dispensed. However, I changed it to a 5, since it's not the product's fault for poor packaging.
I recently picked up a Xytronic 379 soldering station. It makes soldering a breeze. Far superior to the competing Weller WLC100 in equipment quality, temperature control, and ease of use.
So, if you're in the market for a new soldering iron, I'd strongly suggest taking a look at the Xtryonic. I think you'll be surprised at how much value you can get for under $50.
Looks great, works great, great quality, plentiful quantity, at a low cost. If it could cook and do the laundry, it would be perfect!
