Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:more than 1 month
Pros:
Very low consumption. Replaced a 100W incandescent bulb that was on 10-15 hours a day, and the savings in the electricity bill covered the bulb's cost in two months. Durable. After 1 year, averaging 12 hours a day on (about 3600 hours), all LEDs remain operative, but the light is starting to dim.
Cons:
Blue light, near 7000K. Suits a kitchen or bathroom, but if used in a living room or a bedroom, it might need to be paired with a 3500K LED bulb (for example, SKU 119219) to warm the light. For that, use a E27 dual adapter like SKU 94131. A bit larger than a comparable low-consumption bulb.
OtherThoughts:
Not cheap, but nor expensive, and pays for itself with the savings in the bills.
Good value and performance, blueish light
