Tachometer, brushless fan
Pushes quite a bit of air at full speed (12V)
Not really a 'con' but I wish the documentation indicated the width of these fans.
Makes a moderate amount of air movement noise, but not unexpected for the amount of air it pushes (12V).
I had to hack this to work with my system - I needed a 10mm fan so I had to cut off a portion of each corner to get it to fit and replace the noisy, ailing fan. I was hoping the tach would work as-is (the old fan didn't have a tach output) but unfortunately the way it was designed, it didn't work, but so much for an easy hack that wasn't guaranteed to work in the first place.
After the fan installed, ahh... no more annoying fan noise... Since my psu is temp controlled, the fan runs less than full speed and thus is much quieter than when I tested it outside of system.
