Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:

    -Huge thing of tape

    -Amazing quality

-Nicely packaged (well the tape itself I mean :P)

    -Really thin (in a good way...like a chick :P)

    -Really strong

    -It's Kapton tape!

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kapton

    Cons:

-Um that I didn't have it when I built my computer :P

-Note: I'm not sure if its electrically conductive. I would use electrical tape just in case it can carry a slight charge.

    OtherThoughts:

This is kapton tape....it was originally made by Dupont (like teflon) but now its made generically by a lot of people. This tape is used in the inside of most laptops to hold down wires.

    What kapton tape does:

-Dissipates heat (as in it takes a away heat)

    -Used in airplane insulation

    -Used in laptops

-Space Suits (woah time to go for the "X Prize on a Shoestring")

I used it for my wii modchips (wii-clip) after using electrical tape. This tape will turn anything into a heatsink so put a few layers on! Also it is a really nice gold (well pale yellow but close enough).

I also used it for an art project and burned it....try burning this baby it is really heat resistant but with a torch it will burn really cool. As I burned it just deformed but never completely disintegrated....its has the weird whitish color.

    Bottomline:

If you are building anything or just want to be cool and brag about your amazing tape buy it!

*I got 3 sizes. I used the small sized one for some mod-chips*
