I've used the original $400 one everybody knows, and this one, given the price difference, works pretty well. It produces a large, bright image.
The diopter adjustment is a joke. It doesn't adjust anything.
It comes with only one frame, meaning you can use it with one camera only, so I dremelled four holes in each corner of the plastic shader, and put elastic bands, so I can attach it to several cameras (worked well with Canon 7D and Nikon D7000)
It's a bit expensive, for what it is, but at 1/10th the price of the original one, it's really worth it.
