Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:

I have never seen more light comming out a Ultrafire WF 501 b than with this emitter.
The throw is a little less than with a 350lumen type 5
but that should not be considered as a cons.
The beam is bigger but as powerfull as the type 5
When the beamdivergence would be the same as with r2 it ligthts should light out about a kilometer and would dazzle all people who look even at far distance
in the beam of this flashlight.

    Cons:

    None

    OtherThoughts:

Should be handled with care, the emitter is in my opinion the same as the 1000 lumen 3 A emitter limited to a more or less safe 1500mA.
That makes it possible to mod it to 3000mA but in that case you almost should have a weapenlicense to care this kind of flashlight with you because the brightness
is comparable with a laser when you look at short distance right into te beam at full power.

    Bottomline:

With 3000mA 18650 cells you have the full amount of light for about 2 hours.
The flashlight istselve does not become very hot , the emitter has a lot of overcapacity.
For flashlight adicted people this is a must have.
For normal people this is a flashlight you should keep
    under close adult supervision.
