Strong light. One of three modules had a cross pattern (wrong lens) and two had line pattern (correct lens). All had the same part number.

I needed two line lasers for my CNC mill, on either side of the spindle, to make a cross. This laser did what I expected from it. Pros: Line is sharp, with minimal dots. And is able to focus <15cm. It also runs directly from the 5volt supply of the mill/computer with minimal current draw (30mA).... Read more

Well price/quality ratio Adjustable focus Small size Bright and shaped line Low power consumption Fragil glass used in the focus chamber can´t tolerate direct impacts (i guess, i did'nt break mine to prove it) Wires are long enough to manipulate, it would be better a conector, but of course... 1. Inexpensive. 2. Lens can be replaced. 3. Lens can be rotated in a small range of angles for fine adjustment 1. Line quality (intensity and shape) varies a lot along the line. I wanted a thin line at the distance of 200mm. However at both ends line is dashed. 2. The laser spot without the lens... Read more

Get this laser if you're looking for an entertainment-grade device (eg. a laser for a smoke machine light show or a toy weapon targeting system). For precision measurement and alignment either get a professional cross-laser from a home hardware manufacturer, or a pair of line lasers that you'll I... Read more

When unpacking, I was really surprised by the mechanical buld quality. The module itself (the cylinder) is made from stainless steel, only the lens holder is made from plastic, but also covered with stainless steel. We use 4 of them to mark the corners of the female mould while producing fiber i... Read more

The laser is focusable, so you can adjust the line to about 1mm thickness or even less, and the line is bright enough even when powered from 3.7 li-ion battery. When focusing the line you must rotate the hole laser around lens :( otherwise the line rotates too. It is really not good for using in... Read more

Very good quality and bright laser line. You can focuse the line by turning the front of the laser. I use it for a laserscanner and it works perfectly. The laser line is about 2mm at is thinnest at about 5cm from an object. I put in 5v and this works fine, but i am sure this will decrease the of... Read more

Pretty good, relatively small and light operates just fine from 3V to 5V. Beam strong enough to be visible at least 10 feet away on white walls. Beam rotates as you focus it. Be very careful to glue or otherwise immobilize the focus ring or your beam is not going to be level Wit this, a decent a... Read more

It's small, well built module with adjustable focus and wide angle. Very bright then powered from 3x1.5v (AA, 4.5v total) batteries. As noted in other reviews, line ends are blurred and looks like a series of dots. I don't think it's really a con - it's visible only at the very end of the moment... Read more
