    Pros:

For inventers who uses existing housing (for example flashlights)for their project is this an ideal
    product.
    With a few batteries 7.4-8V
and with only 3 about 12VDC.
Home made NV equipement can now be powered with only one AA size recharable.
No energyloss when not in use, the big trouble with NiNH batteries.
The build in PC for protection like shutoff below 2.8V, to high current and more than 4.2VDC works fine.

    Cons:

About 4 VDC per cell, watch out to put them in places for normal batteries 1,2-1,5V, your instrument proably will be destroyed.
    That's why only special (home)made
instruments can be powered with this battery.

    OtherThoughts:

Some DX available led 1X AA battey
powered flashlights perform perfect with this battery, even lifetime of some of them is surprisingly high.
Can be used with CREE leds (1-3 Watt ) without driver, a resistor 1/3 Ohm (3 Watt) or 1Ohm(1 Watt, like the REBEL 100 lumen 1Watt led)
    works fine.
The only 900mAH capacity looks bad
    but isn't.
recharging can be done every time after use, no memoryeffect what so ever.

    Bottomline:

    For modding, tweaking and tuning
RC and other fun-projects, conbinated with small solarcells , wich deliver about 4-4.2V maximum, you can build/tune up very good gardenlights.
