  • bad quality; probably dangerous to use in a car

    * flimsy plastic
    * no metal part, not even the latch
    * the latch is barely holding, definitely not going to last more than 20..30 openings/closings.
    * the picture looks like a real glasses holder (seen one before, that was solid, had a metal spring and a solid latch and was way easier to use and very reliable)


    If you already bought it, don't use in the car on the driver's side (you wouldn't want it to accidentally unlatch when going over a pothole).
    Never fiddle with it while driving (even though you see other people do that with different models; the key word here is "different").


    Go buy a more expensive one in store, after you check the build quality yourself.
    Not a thing to buy on-line, given that not all that is called a holder actually holds.
