Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month
Very big buttons - easy to use. Very big numbers - good readability. Incredibly cheap. SD card connectivity - capable of reading and playing from 32GB SD card in an instant.. Matches my former Pioneer stereo on awful Nissan standard speakers. Starts playing last song from when car was turned off. No background noise.
Navigation! - 3 numbered display counts thousands of songs, and song titles or folders are not displayed. - Can't navigate other than from song to song (not folder to folder, no scanning of songs). 1970s style glas fuses in cables. Weak amplifier. Below average quality feel. Useless colourful animation that is distracting and can't be turned off, see video. Weak radio reception, but works on full European band. Came with Engrish manual, impossible to read. Manual mentions robbery protection keys that were not included in the package. Sits a bit lose in my radio shaft.
I use this radio in winter car, it is very cheap and I am happy I bought it. Works nicely with SD card. But be aware that this is below bottom of the market: Plastic quality and impossible navigation - not really prepared to be used with 32GB SD card. The amplifier has to be run at 50-60% capacity for normal volume in the car, which is crazy. Very thin cables (<1mm). Funny old fuses, but they work. Great numbers on display are perfect. Has no trouble reading 32GB card and starts playing instantly.
