Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month
Pros:
- Light weight - Has overcharge protection - Has underdischarge protection - Can be charged with original Canon charger
Cons:
Does not have 1200mAh capacity. Does not fully charge to 4.2 volts. Discharges quicly.
OtherThoughts:
Charges faster than regular battery (due to smaller capacity). This is a must emergency backup battery from DX.
Bottomline:
I'm using this for my power hungry sx230. The capacity is greatly more obvious in my case comparing to ixus 800. With this you can make something around 50-150 extra shots. Whis is not too good, but might really make a difference. If the price was around $5 that would have been awesome. Anyhow i can still recommend this to evereyone. Despite the performance isn't perfect you can get a nice emergency backup battery with reasonale price.
