Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:

It's a good working product. It has a timer that can be set for 1 minutes upto 30 minutes. I've used if for glasses and an electrical shaver. They get really clean. Just put some hot water with some dishwash cleaner. (druppie Dreft).

    Cons:

I measured the power and it's not 50Watt!. It's 17Watt and 30 Watt and that is consumed power, not utrasonic power.
It's advertised as mini and that indeed very small. A pair of goggles will fit, anything bigger will not

    OtherThoughts:

I opened up to the device to determine the build quality. There is no eart connection on the power plug and it works with water and 230V. Everything inside is connected directly to mains. Any moisture that might leak into the machine could result in electrical shock, be warned. See also some pictures I made.

    Bottomline:

Cheap cleaner that works very good, but it's not 50Watt as advertised.

    • Internal circuits
    • Blue relais contain spilled solder, risk of short!
    • Single transdurer operated at live mains
