Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:

Just mount it near 50W halogen and you will barely see the difference. Good color. Good angle. Strong enough light output. Does not heats up. Low power consumption.

    Cons:

Out of 11 I own 2 failed after 6 months and both same week. Failure likely caused by defected leds and poor quality thermal paste.
Other 5 still closing this death barrier and 4 working for 15 months without a glitch.
First ones has slightly different color than other bought later. Bulb is larger than standard halogen. Ring holding the lens is poorly attached but it will not fall off. After some time I found one lens to be broken but still holding on.

    OtherThoughts:

I fixed failed ones using sku:133086 and average quality CPU thermal paste I found at home. At first I replaced only failed led soldering other 4 back. But soon other failed too so I replaced all 5. So far so good. (I even found other parts just in case: sku:81776 and sku:41368).
For long life it's best if you mount them in ceiling having lot's of empty space for ventilation. It goes tight into standard halogen casing so it works as additional radiator.

    Bottomline:

It pays of in 12-15 months if compared to standard halogen price and electricity prices in my area. Repair costs included.
So far it's best ceiling mounted standard halogen replacement if you ask my opinion. Just could be little cheaper or more reliable.
