Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:

inexpensive, compact, transmits on all frequencies

    Cons:

doesn't work well with all flash drives and SD cards

    remote isn't that great

    OtherThoughts:

Despite what the description says, the unit I received can transmit on any frequency. I tried this with 2 flash drives, 2 SD cards, and an external 2.5" hard drive. My Sandisk Mini Cruiser flash drive made a horrendous noise--unusable. My 2GB Kingston flash drive worked flawlessly. Both SD cards I tried were a little bit static-y, but tolerable. The laptop drive worked surprisingly well, but the drive itself was noisy and required a second USB adapter for power. The line in port also worked fine using my Dell Axim as the player. The noise/interference issues were identical in two different vehicles. So far I have only tested this in my driveway and not on the road yet.

    Bottomline:

Not bad at all for $13. Will save me from cluttering the car with CDs. If you get noise or interference, try different flash drives.
