The board was a bit smaller than I expected, which is only good. Soldering quality was very good. Liked the fact that a USB cable was supplied. At moments like this it is a Plus that the board is fed from the USB so I could go testing immediately.

Nicely fits in a breadboard that formed a good basis. Windows took a bit long to install the USB and serial drivers, but the board was recognized without problems.

Initially I had the dreaded "avrdude: stk500_getsync(): not in sync" error message, but apparently where I initially only saw one com port available in teh arduino software, a bit later a second one had appeared (COM45). Selecting that one solved the problem.

The Nano worked perfectly after that, at least.... in its functionality that I tested

Actually, no, I cannot think of any 'con'. The fact that it is labeleld as 'Arduino' instead of 'Dxuin compatible with Arduino' I really could care less about.

Maybe another con is that I will apend a lot of time playing with this thing :-)

And maybe, t would have been nice if there wld have been an ISP connector attached in the space that has been left open for it

I think it is one of the best buys I ever did. Would love to see DX carry even more Arduino stuff.

It really is a great way to get started with Arduino projects

If you are into arduino, buy one, buy two. Why on earth wld I want to build my own 'freeduino' or 'barebones arduino' if I can get a fully functional board for this price.

This is a buy I certainly will not regret
