Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:more than 1 month Pros: * Good hooks for electrical purposes, holding wires when you are working on a project, temporary connections for prototypes, etc. * OK hooks for non-electrical purposes too! Cons: Would be nice for them to be a tad larger. If you have a small wire to hold they work great, ... Read more

    - Very usefull little hooks for electronics boards testing and exams. - Plenty of options to attach wires to the other end. - Very easy removable top cover to conect a thin cable/wire inside or multimeter or osciloscope tips. Highly recommended for electronic board PCB testing and exam. It would be great if other colors were available (at least red)... Read more

You gotta love those. They allow you to easily test small leads or wires without having to fiddle with your multi-meter. You clip one end on the wire and then inser the multimeter lead into the top part. The connections are very secure and copper wire is used inside. Resistance is quite low too. The clips are a little bit fragile and they don't withstand ... Read more

Grabs on to small wires easily. Looks and works just like more expensive clips. Not really a con but you have to solder your own wire on (this is standard with these style clips). Getting 10 of these for this price is amazing! They are really useful for grabbing onto through-hole components, dip pins, male header pins, and wires without chomping on ... Read more

Easy to soldering. Comes with pre-tinned contacts Hook made from a electrical bronze, but a bit weak (thin strip of metal). Could be straightened out after few uses. All of this come the same color. This purchase has taught me patience. Veeery looong delivery, using especially trained postman-snails. Five months in delivery. I had forgotten about this ... I bought this kit for my father who is an electronics technician, he said that is very useful, and the size of the hooks is perfect for small job, and that the material of the product is very solid and looks resistance. The only thing that could be improved in this kit is the color of the hooks, as everyone has the same color (black) gets complicated ... Read more

The price is excellent. The hooks are small so they are quite easy to use in dense circuits. They are easy to solder to a cable. It would be great if other colors were available (at least red). The insulation voltage is not specified and not very high. (I experienced an electric breakdown of the hook's insulator while I was investigating a failure of ... Read more

The hole for the wire is at the side of the top cap, so the thumb pressing it to open the hook is not interfered with. The metal part inside takes solder easily and has a hole to receive the wire. The top part may be used to bend over and grip the wire to relieve the strain on the solder joint. None. Very good at the price, though the black colour is ... Read more

The plastic is solid, does not look or feel cheap. Also the metal parts are strong and do not break easily. Can be used as probes for an oscilloscope because the hooks are very small and have a firm grip. No cons at the moment... maybe the fact that they are all black and you have to label them in order not to mistake them during use. I think that these ... Read more

These Electrical Wire Testing Hooks are excellent. They are so cheap that I never found cheaper, I was surprised too good and clean execution, and contacts are no signs of corrosion. The only thing I could give a negative is perhaps size, they could be a little bigger, but again something is better to be smaller. And the time of delivery (the Czech ... Read more
