  • Tiny DVB-T antenna works for me

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:

Very small antenna (less than six inches.) Good build quality. Magnetic base adheres easily to any convenient surface. Cable length is adequate.

    Cons:

Much smaller than I had expected, but height is clearly shown in images. Probably not suitable for fringe reception areas. Coaxial cable is thin and lossy. Have not tried it "mobile" and would not be confident in doing so.

    OtherThoughts:

Approximate dimensions: cable length ~1300mm (4 feet 3 inches.) Antenna driven element (which unscrews) ~120mm (4.7 inches); total length from tip of antenna to base ~147mm (5.8 inches.) Cable is thin and therefore lossy, but appropriate for this application. Would like to see a longer version.

    Bottomline:

Again, it's *very* *small*, but in my (fairly good) reception area it pulls in DVB-T channels remarkably well, and is absurdly cheap. Recommended.
