This is a simple yet easy product. You just have to plug it in and it ios ready to go, no drivers are needed at all. The physical dimensions of the USB dongle is a bit oversized, it fits hardly into th eUSB port when you use other USB dongles or devices connected to the same computer. I needed to use a USB hub to connect it to in order to have sufficient ... Read more

    - good output sound quality - good mic input/record sound quality - no drivers required on windows xp - c-media chip - small - good price - honestly... none very good sound quality output for the price and even mic input recording is very good, in fact better recording quality than in some old on-board sound cards for some motherboards... despite nowadays ... - works great on windows vista 32-bit - sturdy and tough build - compact and portable - only left speaker of my stereo system plays sounds (still in the process of fixing it... could be fault of the speakers and not the usb sound adapter) - maybe cheaper price? Don't change the audio channel when a youtube video is playing. I was playing a music video ... Read more

Clear and good audio. Works on windows, mac and linux. Powerfull enough for Koss Porta Pro. No drivers needed. Unable to use any adjacent usb ports if you're not using an extension cable. Mic input seems to be mono only. No additional value over SKU 45577, except black color instead of white. Shows up as the following in Linux: 0d8c:000c C-Media Electronics,... Read more

Just what i expected. One of the best buys i made on dealextreme. None. For a "usb" sound card, i couldn't ask for better. If you have a broken plug or sound card, this will work almost perfectly. There is a very tiny little distortion of a fraction of a second coming maybe every 5 seconds, but you can hear it only with hearphones, and still.... Read more

I was looking for a cheap audio solution for my hackintosch machine. The on-board audio of my motherboard is not fully supported with MacOSX and very noisy with open source hda drivers. So I bought this beauty, plugged it in, altered the output device and it worked out of the box ! Great sound quality. Kinda big. It blocks another USB port. In the near ... Read more

    - Very good sound quality. I was expecting something worth 10$ but the sound is just perfect like my old soundcard. - Nice price/quality. For this price I will be surprise you will find something better. - Mic and Speaker - Can ajust volume with the dongle Only a small one : It take too much space so if you have 2 usb close to each other it will block ... This sounds so much better than my TOSHIBA laptop Realtek sound card, even with all the 3D sound options turned on. It's like upgrading from AM to FM radio. I wish I bought this USB adapter sooner! The USB adapter is slightly big, so you wont be able to use adjacent USB slots. I'll be buying a usb hub so I can use this little beast and my other USB ... Very good product. The structure where it is constructed is solid. The mute buttons and the volume buttons are very usefull if you are using the USB card with another sound card and work very well without the need of drivers, just plug and play. None that I could check so far. Just that it has a big structure and that can block the other USBs in the ... Read more

    - Recognized hardware on Vista and Mac OSX without any drivers/software - Recording/Playing sounds works great on Mac OSX - Kind of fat, if you have two USB slots right next to each other, don't expect to fit something into the other one while this one is plugged in (Used a USB hub to solve this problem) - Price is meh - Unnecessary buttons - Worked ...
