One of the best spot/flood beam patterns I have witnessed in inexpensive Chinese LED flashlights! Usually the difference in illumination between spot and flood is rather stark, but not this light. The entire pattern would be quite useful in the dark without having to continually "hunt" around with just the spot because the flood is useless.... Read more
Very bright! The XP-G R5 emitter is driven very hard (2,35A on high!) and coupled with SMO reflector this has a noticeable throw for a flashlight this size. Better than the UF 2100 with XM-L emitter, which has more lumens but is very floody.
Has no mode memory, always start on high, then med, low, strobe and sos, so if you too hate blinky modes, there'... Read more
Simple and clean design, good quality, great runtime, bright! The strap broke at the thin end beacuse the metal is a bit sharp where it's attached. As mentioned before, slightly weak spring at the positive end of the battery, sharp jolts may cause it to change mode. More? Well if I'm to be picky, the threads are a bit rough and could be a little longer.... Read more
Impeccable quality of housing (very few compromises - see cons). Very compact size for 18 650. Full use of the LED and battery capacity - current close to the limit for the LED, but does not overload the battery. Silicone cap on the switch is pressed against a single aluminum washer to the body, steel assault crown can be removed without loss of containment.... Read more
The description is true, it really is regulated! The regulation is provided by an AMC7136 adjustable regulator. The sense resistor is 33mohms, which equates to 1.5A with the 50mV sense voltage. I measured 1.32A on high. There's probably some additional trace resistance that is reducing it from the expected 1.5A. Still, it's plenty bright. 350 OTF lumens ... Read more
small, economical, beautiful design, multi-mode (sometimes a lot of maximum) no memory, O-Ring Thin - placed 1.5 mm, Stainless Steel Assault Crown is not full thread As usual - to finalize a file (Russian joke)
Light corresponds to the statement. Compared with Fenix ??TK12 r5, FandyFire 2100 brighter. In the maximum mode is not really hot. Meryl current ... Read more
