If you need to stop at night and do something, this is a really great and useful tool to carry. It only accepts one kind of battery that was hard to find here in my country, so i needed to buy it just for the flashlight use. Great product, great price. With a very good quality. The product is really great and the light is really srtong. I recommend.

Gets very hot during extended usage. "Xenon bulb" on the description made me laugh.
Was expecting light color to be Diamond white (6000K~), but it's more of a Warm white tint (4500K~). Definately worth acquiring, just don't forget to get a bunch of CR123As!

This is an excellent flashlight, compact, bright, and light weight for every day carry (EDC). Can be easily mounted with a standard 1-inch accessory ring and a bit of loctite. I've used this light on both air soft and actual firearms and it stood up fine on both fronts. The firearms I've used it on were a Ruger 10/22 - .22lr, and an SKS - 7.62x39mm, so after using it on the SKS its clear this light can handle a reasonable amount of recoil and still operate.
I've used mine a number of times in heavy rain and haven't had an issue.
Replacement bulbs are extremely cheap!
Batteries are cheap here on DX. Just as bright as a comparable surefire which cost about 10 times the price. The brightness often stupefies friends. The finish is prone to wear, quite a few of the raised surfaces of my light have been worn down to the bare metal. Battery life is quite low, I don't usually get more than 35 minutes out of mine using two 3.6v CR123A rechargeables, make sure you always have a fresh pair charged and check the light before you go out. As far as using it as a Tactical light, I haven't tried it on anything larger than 7.62x39mm, and I'd probably stick to intermediate cartridges (IE, .223/5.56mm, 7.62x39mm) or lower, you could probably get away with it on a 7.62x51/.308. The beam given off is extremely hot, this can cause a bit of a problem when you're in a tight spot and working up close to something (Example: bent over and craned around to install/check something inside your computer), it all depends what situation you're in.
If you're stuck and really need to buy batteries for it here in Canada they're quite expensive. The internals in the tail cap are bit low quality, there's some glue action in the tail cap, it would be nice to see a more ruggedly constructed tail cap, but it has held up so far and the body of the light and the bulb assemblies are well made
I'm on my second bulb and the first one lasted a little over a year. (great run time for the amount of light this little guy puts out). This light is absolutely not water proof like a surefire, It won't work totally submerged. I've used this light for around a year and a half has my EDC light and its stood up to a fair amount of use, both as a weapon light and an EDC light (a few times has been used as a makeshift hammer for some light impact work ;)
Try carrying it around with you for a week, I bet you'll never leave the house without it. And if you're buying this for EDC, grab a glow in the dark button for it.

Battery/Batteries rattle in body, even protected 18650. This was a pleasant surprise for under $10 USD. I will buy it again for other flashlight projects. DIY hosts cost more, and this comes with a working bulb. The bulb/drop-in will fit in other P60 style hosts, and it is bright. Of the 4 different P60 hosts I received today from Dx, this was my favorite as well as the cheapest. Highly recommend.

clicky switch - I get tired of the momentary on buttons that you have to hold. the ones I have ordered have not come with an o-ring on the bezel where it threads down holding the bulb assembly in. I have had to add the o-ring to all that I've ordered. some o-rings break the first time you take it apart because they were never greased. get some 3.6v rechargeables and you have one heck of a light for the money. If it comes with the battery spacer in the end of the tube (two of mine did), you'll want to remove it for the rechargeables. Want a good LED thrower? Get 11836. Perfect fit.
Grease the o-rings/threads! Great small light. The xenon bulb has lots of spill and works like a good flood. Grab the LED 11836 and it throws like crazy.

Awesome light for the money. Throw in an LED drop-in (i used 11836), and a couple rechargeable batteries (08683 w/06672), and this thing is amazing! Threads were in pretty good shape, and greased, with O-rings at every threaded connection. Came with a wrist strap and a pretty decent xenon bulb, but I'll put it aside for a backup if I ever need it. The led drop-in prevented the head from screwing all the way down, but with a little tweaking, got both sections to the o-rings. Rechargeable batteries that are slightly longer than a standard cr123 keep the tail cap from threading to the o-ring; standard cr123's are perfect. I was able to use a dremel and remove some of the plastic at the top of the battery tube so the LED drop-in listed above would sit lower, allowing the head to thread down past the o-rings. The light also starts to heat up at about 5 minutes, but isn't bad even after 10 (w/LED. The glass lens is replaceable- has a threaded collar that holds it in, same with the tail cap switch. This would be a great backup to other lights. It's small and easy to carry, and with the right light and batteries, can light up a room or throw 50yds. I ordered it to keep in my locker at work, but have offers to buy it already! Certainly not top-of-the-line, but will light up the night just as good for much less.
