If there is one single led flashlight that gives you 1000 lumen it must be this uniquefire. Incredible lot of light. The strap is long enough to let large hands in. It is a combination of a thrower - nice, very bright hotspot - and a flooder. Although I did not measure runtime I expect battery to last for about an hour and that is longer then we are used to wiht 18650's. Charger looks like it is made by the same manufacturer as. sku 13820. Does not get warm while charging nor does the battery. Seems good quality. The flashlight feels good in your hands. Appears a bit bulky compared to standard 18650 flashlights but no problem carrying it around. Packed in a sturdy practical box which makes sure that there will be no damage done to the torch during shipping. No lubrication of the threads that is dissapointing. Much more dissapointing however is de low mode! It is really low, perhaps 20% of high and not practical at all. The fast strobe that so few people (like me) seem to like, should be changed for a mid mode of 60%. There has been a great increase in lumens per watt with cree leds over the last few years and xm-l leds are the standard now (for the moment, you never now when cree surprises you again) but runtime stayed around 45 minutes. This light - at high mode - will not change that. A hell of lot of light but no significantly increased runtime. Under the circumstances you really need a second battery. Why not included? There is plenty of space for it in the box I think uniquefire missed a chance to offer us a flashlight that is still very affordable, has I really high ouput when needed but at the same time offers you the opportunity to double the runtime when using the mid- mode . My advise: Get rid of the strobe mode and add a mid-mode that gives 600 lumen. Especially professional user would be very happy with that. Such a 22650 battery flashlight may very well become the new standard. I am waiting for it.
