Must have an adapter cable for usb.
Batteries are not connected to usb output, you must crank to charge anything, but the solarpanels are in any case too small to give any usefull charge for anything besides lighting.
Would have been better with a buildt in usb port, and a bigger battery, or perhaps an ultracapacitor?.
For emergency use and hiking it is great. Never worry about batteries, and in a pinch you can make a "crank call", powering your dying cellphone by the crank.
