Pros:
bright!
it has a good beam
small case
good case quality and looks good
5 modes
Cons:
the brightness is different with all accapted batteries - 1 AA is the worst, 2 AA is much better, but 1 Li-Ion 14500 is the brightest.
the case gets quite warm on full power.
the 5 modes are changed by switching the switch (soft touch on the switch or by turning off and on), this is a bit aggravating because when the lamp is turned on, the mode is always a other.
Battery life is not very good with 14500 li-ion cell on full power (i think about 30 minutes, not tested yet)
Other:
the lamp is nice, but when the LED driver will be a constant-current-source it will be better, because the brightness will be constant when the input voltage is changing.
ATTENTION! When you use a unprotected li-ion cell, you will not know when de battery is low (2,5V) and deep discharge is not good for the cells.
Bottomline:
Nice flashlight for the price.
When you search for a small light with high brightness, take it and use 1x14500 or 2xAA NiMh (Sanyo Eneloop recommended, i´ll test GP ReCyKo soon (next DX order)).
