Got 2 of them, and they work like a charm, but be careful – BAOFENG BF-888S 5W 400~470MHz 16-CH Walkie Talkie - Black Reviews

Pros:
It's quite small and light, with a good, pleasant grip. Looks sturdy and not too cheap, also, but they ARE cheap. Programming of these boys can be a MAJOR PAIN, but once you're done, you can forget about it, since the use is quite simple, they work exactly as expected.
Cons:
Programming IS NOT EASY, the original software is poorly translated from Chinese, so be ready. There's an alternative software, available online, that you can google, though, which is far better. The actual output is far from 5W: it's in the range of 1.3-2.0 W, according to the sources in the internet. The software formally allows to switch the output mode HIGH/LOW, but looks like this option simlpy doesn't work.
Other:
Be careful with the legal frequencies of your region. Here in Spain we only have PMR446 allowed for unlicensed use, with the output not exceeding 0.5W, so this little boy will yield 3-4 times more than that... Interference into the prohibited frequencies may be harshly prosecuted. Be careful travelling abroad with them, especially overseas. The frequency allowances change dramatically between EU/US/Russia, for example. Also notice that 666S, 777S, 888S present on DX are EXACTLY the same inside, with slightly different looks.
Bottomline:
Quite nice walkie, doing exactly what it should, for a very good price.
