Good one – Designer's 2.5" SATA to SATA HDD / SSD Caddy for 12.7mm Optical Drive Reviews

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

Pros:
- Easy to install - Fits perfectly (Acer 5942G laptop) - Light - Made well - Cheap
Cons:
Doesn't have (see details below)
Other:
- The CD-rom had a mounting eyelet with 2 screws. Caddy has 2 holes for them but they don't have a screw-thread. Not a problem but I had tapped them myself (it's easy). - The holding bar could fix hard drive more tough.
Bottomline:
Satisfied with Good choice to extend storage of your laptop – Designer's 2.5" SATA to SATA HDD / SSD Caddy for 12.7mm Optical Drive. This is nice alternative to having HDD in external enclosures. It allows greater mobility and performance.
