* They came with the batteries installed.
* They can be switched on/off by blowing on them or by quick shocking them.
The description says that it can be in various LED colors, but nothing about it can behave differently.
I have no idea how fast do the ear batteries in "off" mode. So, I suggest put insulated battery spacer back if they are not used for a long time.
