Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
I want to make a laptop charger from car cigarette socket. According to the description it is just what I wanted. I just soldered the parts up and measure the voltage. Everything seems to be fine. Next thing I need to do is to take out for test drive.
    Cons:
I can not think of any right now. I just wish it can handle little more than 3 amp so I can have a little spare, not so tight ...

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
    * Very solid voltage output, seems selectable via the potentiometer from zero to Vin. * Was able to supply >2A with very no voltage drop (two galaxy S 3's and a raspberry pi) from an old 12V wal wart * Good build quality and easy to use/solder to
    Cons:
    * Potentiometer soldering was a little wobbly

very good size and easy to mount thanks to the vias on pads, easy to adjust voltage, without the load it holds the set voltage very good (rare fluctuations do not count)
    Cons:
LM2596S-ADJ chip's 5th leg (on/off) was not soldered. Other than that no other cons
