-unipolar stepper motor, does not require H-bridge.
-Very low rotation because of high torque. Needs big gear(large radius) to be placed on shaft for projects that require large displacements (2*pi*r).
- Confusing what kind of gear to purchase for beginner to be placed on shaft.
-Requires female to male/female wires!(male wires in Arduino, female wires in ULN2003 driver).
Although the codes for this motor are confusing, I have experimentally determined that this stepper motor needs 1024 steps for a full rotation. Setting the steps/revolution at 1024 and commanding it to make 1024 steps results in exactly 1 revolution, doing this with other values will not work as the motor shaft will have an offset.
Great device. You will need extra stuff to make it work though. Don't forget to order male/female wires and some sort of gear for the shaft if you want to use it to drive something else.
