indeed all metal gears.
a ball bearing on the output-shaft. not sealed though.
has a lot of play.
better not use it for anything that suffers from much play.
gears feel mushy or grinding when turned without power.
is not digital as the sticker suggests. (you can hear the difference)
tries to correct the gear play by moving against it instead of holding its position.
it is a little slow on the start.
only application that comes in mind would be a throttle or brake servo in a large scale model.
I would not buy exactly this tower pro 995 servo again.
don't get me wrong, it is not a crappy servo, it hat metal gears, so it may survive heavy abusing in monster trucks and such.
and in an application where precision is not required it shines through cheapness and durability.
