Bright RGB LED – DIY Arduino 3-Color RGB SMD LED Module - Black Reviews

Pros:
It's bright and all three LEDs in it can be controlled separately. For example when using Arduino, it can be directly powered from the PWM pins with no extra components. The diodes also start emitting at quite low voltages, so there is good range for adjusting the brightness of each channel.
Cons:
The different colors don't have equal voltage/brightness response. So if you want to have accurately controlled color changes with uniform brightness, you will need to do some serious calibration on your control code.
Other:
The module has pins labeled wrong. The ground pin (-) is correct, but the color channels are not in RGB order, but BRG. Easy enough to find out by testing. Also since the LEDs are separated from each other, you might want some diffusing element to mix the lights together.
Bottomline:
Want fancy color lights in your DIY project? Here you have it.
