Handy for Launchpads and similar – Male to Female DuPont Breadboard Jumper Wires for Arduino (40-Piece Pack / 20cm-Length) Reviews

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

Pros:
- OK build quality - really handy for breaking out male connectors, such as the ones on an TI-launchpad to a breadboard.
Cons:
Build quality is not GREAT. not failed me so far and with no less than 40-cables it is not a big issue if one or two breaks.
Other:
40 cables? That is a lot of cables! Doesn't look that great and some of the male-pins where a bit dented and bent, but not so much you could not push them in to a bread board (or straighten them with a flat-nosed plier.
Bottomline:
Also handy for in circuit programming. Remember to solder a few female .100-pitch connectors on to the circuit-board and plug it right from your Launchpad programmer. (on MSP430s use the GND, RST and TEST wires)
