Pros:
Small PCB with high output and almost no loss of energy, so it does not spoil much heat and therefor the cooling is very tiny. Nice build quality , have to test how it sound yet but experience about the concept tells me that a good class D amps sounds very good.
Cons:
Nominal (RMS) is about only 2X40 Watt, no 2X100 Watt, that should be the theoretical max during music peeks (clipping power)
Other:
2X40 Watts pure rms power is, when used high efficient PA qualityspeakers quite a lot for a livingroom. When used with balanced XLR the double output in brigemode is achievable, enough to feed a subwoofersystem. usetthe max input 2x23 VAC using a ringkerntrafo with low magnetic surroundfield and low secondair resistance of 180VA or better.
Bottomline:
Nice and cheap class D amp, in the follow up I 'll tell how it sounds.
