Very nice speaker-mic – 3.5mm+2.5mm Clip-on Microphone for Kenwood Walkie Talkies (1.5-Meter Cable) Reviews

It appeals to me as a very well-built device.
The cable, jacks, and strain reliefs are solidly constructed.
Very positive "snap" to the PTT button, so you'll know when you're transmitting.
None at all. If I really had to pick something to nit over, it would be the plastic clip on the back. It's not flimsy - just not as tough as the rest of the mic.
This speaker-mic works as advertised. Push to talk, and it keys the radio. In addition, a red LED lights on the front of the microphone when the radio is transmitting - regardless of if you are pushing the PTT button on the microphone or on the radio (at least on my Kenwood TH-D7AG). The speaker sounds just fine considering it's size. The jack on the bottom of the microphone next to the cable is a headphone jack. It is mono, so it only sends sound to the left ear of a pair of stereo headphones. There are no markings on the microphone, and the cable is 20 inches long without stretching the coiled portion. It will easily stretch another two feet if needed.
