Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
Excellent briteness. White light is great in my line of work as a hvac technician. Doesn't cause confusion when identifying wire colors like some other flashlights that cast a blue hue. Great when I use it with a Nite Ize headband I have in crawlspaces. Pus...
    Cons:
Would be better if it were a bit more rugged to prevent damage to the led when dropped. The casing lasts fine but the shock of ...

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
    - Bright - Durable, sturdy - Nice cone of light (very bright spot in the center) - feels good in hand
    Cons:
    - one of the three sometimes has contact failures => blinks randomly - would be even better if you could adjust/zoom the cone

    Pros:
BRIGHT! Still reasonably good battery life. Seem to be water-resistant.
    Cons:
Quality is not fantastic. Not built for use for ever. I bought this flashlight at least 5 years ago. Yes, it worked flawless fo...

Awesomely bright and powerful small Flashlight

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
It is VERY bright, you will get blinded just by pointing it at your hand. It is the brightest flashlight that uses AA batteries I have ever had. It has a very bright center and throws light very far. Is much brighter than some "600 Lumen" flashlights i hav...
    Cons:
Light will start to flicker when the batteries are starting to run low. Not unusual. It tipped over on a hard surface and died...

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
    - Bright with long range (at least 100 m) - Uses regular AA batteries - Spot and spill are perfect - Good build, no glue, everything is screwed together, even the tailcap assembly - Comes with wrist strap - Single mode, no strobe/SOS
    Cons:
    - Tailcap made problems first, until I fixed it - Gets warm a little to quickly - AA batteries can move a little inside, maki...

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
Suprisingly large amount of light from just 2 AA's - overshined all flashlights of similar size I have owned before Looks sturdy and pro ;) Fits comfortably in hand Click & go - no strobe / SOS modes
    Cons:
    - Scratches batteries - one of my Eneloops got scratched so much, that it shorted with metal wall and the flashlight began to s...

The best 2AA flashlight I've ever seen

posted by xkisszoltanx on 05/19/2011 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
I am satisfied with this flashlight. The power of light is very strong despite the fact that it works with two AA batteries. It lights far away ~60-100 meters. The AA batteries costs cheaper than the special ones. And I'm sure that every household has at le...
    Cons:
    The runtime could be longer.

    Very bright and useful

posted by zippyzap on 05/11/2011 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
Very bright. Uses normal AA batteries. Uses two of them, not some odd number like three. AA batteries are possibly the cheapest batteries to buy and they always come packed in even numbers, so flashlights that take odd numbers of batteries irk me. Reasonabl...
    Cons:
I suppose it could be a bit smaller, especially the girth around the head of it. Why does it have an assault crown? Seriously? ...
