Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

Pros:
I was worried these might not be the best quality but they are as good as $40 strips I've seen. All the LEDs are equal brightness and all the soldering on mine was well done. The double sided tape is a nice feature too.
Cons:
No con so far, packaging only consists of a plastic bag if that matters to anyone.
Other:
You can cut these into 3 LED segments and there are pads to solder wire on to both ends. Great design.
Bottomline:
Definitely buy these, if you don't need it to be weather proof these are the ones to get. Remember that they are common anode.
