cheap and easy to use – Digital Compact LCD Thermometer with Outdoors Remote Sensor Reviews

It is very cheap, and easy to use, the display LCD is relative large and clear to read. The accuracy is in an acceptable range, I tested it with a classical mercury thermometer, in the two tested point (0 and 22 degree), mine is 0.8 degree Centigrade above the mercury thermometer.
1) the building quality is not as I expected, The LCD has lines missing! However it is not very difficult to fix it, I fixed mine by opening the back cover and cleaning the rubber conducting bar with piece of paper.
2) There is no Fahrenheit switch in the back. So you can't change it to Fahrenheit.
3) no reset button.
For the price I shouldn't complain this device too much, it is good enough for general use. I have a similar one in my office which looks just same as present one, but it has a red reset button and a fahrenheit-celsius switch in the back, measured temperature is about 0.4 bellow the mercury thermometer.
I believe 1 'C deference is acceptable for this kind of digital device.
Cheap and Good for general use.
