This thing is highly "upgradable," both with better firmware, via OpenWRT, and through hardware upgrades for the adventurous (RAM and flash can both be upgraded if you are good at soldering). With serial port access, too, this can be a great project platform with wifi capability.
None. Well, maybe only that it comes with a Chinese-language firmware, but there are plenty of guides for going through an upgrade process.
OpenWRT. Do it. Find the wiki page and follow a set of instructions for upgrading the firmware through the web interface. Be sure to check for your hardware revision before you flash as there are variations that require different versions of OpenWRT. Also, get yourself a tiny flash drive and install some useful software with the opkg system.
An awesome little device in its own right, but truly excellent with OpenWRT. Also, the wireless throughput speeds are very good.
