Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
Descent build quality, Open circuit it outputs 12.5 volts. Has overload protection, resets if overloaded instead of becoming a paper weight. When loaded it only generates a modest amount of heat.
    Cons:
It does not output 5 amps as advertised, only produces 3-4amps before shutting down. As stated above, overloading does not smo...

    Pros:
Superb value, this stuff is hard to find in my country at a reasonable price. Build quality is just as good as original. It brought back a mini laptop from the dead.
    Cons:
Nothing really. I mean, come on, it works, it lasts and the build quality is A-OK.

    Great PSU for LCD monitors

posted by Quasam on 01/14/2009 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
Great value for the money. Build quality is as good as original. It even looks like the old one i am replacing. Works on several different models. Auto sensing ac voltage input means same part for us and eu customers. This is driving prices down.
    Cons:
Noting I can think of? It didn't jump out of the box and install itself :)
