The body looks well made, threads are good, o-rings are tight fit so you'll never get a drop of water inside of it.
18650 batteries last long, let's say more than one our of full light before starting to see some dimming, even if slight. look at "other thougths" part of ths review for more info about power imput vs voltage.
Has three modes, full, dim and flash. Full sometimes is way too bright (900mA at full battery), there isn't a "mid" setting, but the low light option (55mA) works really well, producing enough light ro read something near you without blinding yourself out due to the imposing flood of light. Flashing is pretty fast, maybe a good way to force sleepy friends to wake up :D not so useful, but funny.
The light feels warm to touch after about ten minutes of run at full light, but if you open the head and take out the module... it burns hot! let's say the led is operating over 60°C... if the reflector is pretty hot to touch, how hot will be the led? probably, this is the only cons for the flashlight. Will affect the light output, about -10% between 25 and 75°C, but not the led's lifetime so much, since many cree leds are rated 70% of output after 50000 hours at or below 80°C :)
current - voltage - power
#full power
0.92A @ 4.15V -> 3.8W
0.84A @ 4V -> 3.36W
0.68A @ 3.7V -> 2.5W
#low power
0.055A
#Flashing
0.45A @ 4.15V
0.42A @ 4V
about half current at full power.
