It does have everything I need for an HTPC: A fast GPU that can decode 1080p movies over HDMI, analog 5.1 audio output (since I don't have a receiver, but I do have 6 speakers - the HTPC does the job of decoding DTS, AC3 and other codecs and output to the 5.1 analog out) and it does have USB3 - great for connecting external HDs.
The unique con that I could find is the cooler. It does a lot of noise. In the future I'll try to change it with a bigger heat sink and to underclock the CPU.
Has all the connections you need for an HTPC. Hardware is 100% Linux compatible.
Running XBMC 12.1 on it without any issues.
If you are looking for a cheap and compact HTPC and doesn't bother you a little of noise, this mini-itx system is for you. Just add it on a nice case with at least 4gb of RAM and install XBMC and you are all set!
