Great for finding out what is exactly wrong with your vehicle. – ELM327 Bluetooth OBD-II Wireless Transceiver Dongle Reviews

Pros:
Good price. Works quite easily, especially with the Android program called Torque and Carman for Maemo.
Cons:
It sends duplicate readings but all programs I've used can handle this with no problem. It can be a bit large to leave in full time if your OBD-II port is behind a cover. You can some times solve this by removing the cover.
Other:
If you use a device that monitors your driving through the OBD-II port for your insurance company you may not be able to use this at the same time without a splitter or maybe even not at all.
Bottomline:
In my opinion these are a must-have for any and all OBD-II enable car owners (manufactured 1996+).
