Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
Can be easily used as a Software Defined Radio and performs extremely well (google for RTLSDR). Contains the RTL2832 and R820t tuner chip. If used as a SDR, the R820t limits the available bandwidth but performs way better than the older RTL2832 based receiv...
    Cons:
It gets relatively warm. If used for DVB-T reception channel switching and channel search takes long, so it's not great if you'...

    Pros:
This device really contains R820T. It already contains ESD protective diode. The housing is nice and it also comes with the remote control. If you know the specs of the R820T chip there is nothing more to say, it's simply outstanding.
    Cons:
It has MCX connector, so additional adapter must be purchased for connection to the standard antenna (with the IEC connector) o...
